I’m a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Sussex.

I developed and run the Mappiness study investigating subjective wellbeing and environmental quality.

I remain affiliated to UCL CASA and LSE.

I’m also a geo/web/app developer.

I specialise in survey techniques and spatial data. I code mainly in Objective-C/Cocoa, Ruby, CoffeeScript & PostGIS. I’ve worked on projects for the BBC and the University of Cambridge, amongst others.
